In December of  2004, Essentia presented two performances of Tango in Torino. One indoors in the historical San Carlo Caffè, tangoIn, and one outdoors, called tangOut, in the beautiful Piazza Vittorio Veneto. They have been recorded on a DVD entitled  "tangoIn/tangOut".

The first performance was given at the start of a  series of events with the theme, Tango  in Turin, "TURIN MILONGA", held in historical caffès in Turin  in  Piazza San Carlo, where building sites are preparing for the forthcoming Olympic games. The Argentine Tango performance, given by  Dario Moffa and  Sara Storero in Caffè San Carlo was the first of this series of performances.

The second performance was in  piazza Vittorio Veneto, Torino, under the archways (portici = arched streets that run for 11 kms around the most beautiful shops in Turin, fruit of one of Turin’s Queen who wished to shop under shelter)  "danzaiportici", was an initiative taken by, Coordinamento Danza Piemonte – synergies to the projects of light and scenography  "water to light", under the sponsorship of  Piazza Vittorio’s merchants.
The performance was Argentine Tango and Contemporary Dance by Dario Moffa e Cristina Dalla Corte.
